What causes acne scars?
Acne is an inflammatory skin disease that affects a large majority of the population. Though it is most often associated with puberty, it can affect some individuals into adulthood, and the scars left behind from this condition can stay with individuals for years, even after breakouts stop. Acne scars are formed when inflamed lesions such as papule, pustules, or cysts form in the skin during a flare-up. When these lesions occur, it is because a pore or follicle in the skin becomes inflamed due to an excess of oil, bacteria, or dead skin cells. The inflammation causes a break in the follicle wall, and even after the body works at repairing this damage, the skin will not be as smooth as it was before the damage occurred.

Due to the low potential risks and narrow margin for error, non-surgical rhinoplasty has become one of the most popular aesthetic procedures among practitioners and patients. At the same time, it is important to learn about the pitfalls and risks associated with non-surgical rhinoplasty. ...

Get Rid of Stubborn Forehead Lines with Restylane
Forehead wrinkles, also known as worry lines or expression lines, are the horizontal lines that appear in the forehead. These lines are categorized as dynamic wrinkles, meaning they’re wrinkles that are caused by certain facial expressions. When we’re young and the skin is firm and elastic, the creases and lines appear only when the underlying muscles in the face are contracted during facial movements. However, as the skin loses essential nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, elastin, and collagen, it is not able to snap back into place so easily, and eventually these wrinkles and lines become permanent. While age is one of the primary factors that cause these wrinkles, along with genetics, there are some other causes that can speed up the appearance of wrinkles. These include repeated harmful exposure to the sun, harsh environmental factors, and lifestyle choices such as diet and smoking.
