Esthelis vs Juvederm: Which One if Better?
Juvederm and Esthelis are some of the most popular injectable fillers used for aesthetic purposes. Both Esthelis and Juvederm are administered via minimally invasive injections, and are considerably safer compared to surgical aesthetic procedures, which tend to be invasive in nature. Juvederm is developed and manufactured by Allergan, a Dublin-based multinational pharmaceutical company. Esthelis is a product of the Switzerland-based Anteis S.A. (a subsidiary of Merz Pharma). Juvederm is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe folds and wrinkles, including nasolabial folds. Similarly, Esthelis fillers are also used as a corrective treatment for facial wrinkles and fine lines. Prevelle Silk is one of the latest hyaluronic acid fillers on the market. It is co-developed by Genzyme Corporation and Mentor Corporation (a manufacturer of breast implants which operates as a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson). In contrast, Juvederm has a longer history of use and is one of the most popular aesthetic filler brands. Juvederm is manufactured by Allergan, an Irish pharmaceutical company that operate worldwide.
Prevelle Silk is indicated for the temporary treatment of moderate to severe aging-related folds and wrinkles. The filler is particularly useful in treating wrinkles and lines with minor irritation, including nasolabial folds. Nasolabial folds are furrows extending from the angle of the mouth to the base of the nose. Amalian and Juvederm are injectable fillers used for anti-aging purposes. The Amalian range comprises of Amalian I, Amalian II, Amalian III, Amalian Lip, and Amalian Balance. On the other hand, the Juvederm collection consists of Juvederm Ultra 2, Juvederm Ultra 3, Juvederm Ultra 4, Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Volbella, and Juvederm Vollure, to name a few. Some Juvederm preparations are infused with lidocaine as a local anesthetic. Amalian is manufactured by Nordic Aesthetics (which operates under the Germany-based S&V), whereas Juvederm is a product of Allergan, an Irish pharmaceutical company based in Dublin. Rich in rejuvenating ingredients, Amalian is used to correct fine to medium skin depressions and lip enhancement. Juvederm fillers are able to restore volume, contour, correct fine to deep-set wrinkles, augment the lips, and restore skin hydration, amongst many other indications.
