Botox is a type of botulinum toxin injection that has both aesthetic and clinical uses. It has been extensively used in aesthetic medicine to correct lines and wrinkles. In particular, Botox has shown remarkable results in the treatment of moderate to severe glabellar lines that are results of procerus or corrugator muscle activity, forehead lines caused by frontalis muscle activity, and lateral canthal lines (more commonly known as crow's feet). Apart from that, Botox has also been used by medical practitioners for scrotum and penis enhancement. Despite being in the market for merely fifteen years, Botox has obtained global cult status. Indeed, since 2012, more than 10.9 million vials of Botox injections have been sold in the US alone. Botox has been approved for cosmetic use in more than 75 countries around the world.

About Restylane fillers
The highly regarded Restylane collection was introduced in 1996 by the Sweden-based Q-Med AB. Over the years, the product range has been diversified and broadened to meet the ever-growing needs of dermal fillers. Bestselling fillers such as Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, and Restylane are specially formulated to treat facial lines and wrinkles. In addition, there are many other Restylane products that address the specific needs of patients. For example, Restylane Silk has lip-enhancing properties and can be used for treating lines around the mouth. Restylane Lyft, on the other hand, is ideal for lifting and volumizing the lips. At the same time, the filler is effective in enhancing facial volume and filling in hollow or sunken temples. It has also recently been approved for hand treatments. More importantly, Restylane Lyft can be used for a non-surgical nose job.

When we think of Botox, wrinkles and lines are often the first things that come to mind. Having potent muscle relaxant properties, Botox is conventionally used to reduce aging signs such as forehead lines, glabellar lines and lateral canthal lines (or more commonly known as crow's feet). At the same time, it is used clinically to treat a wide range of medical conditions such as spasticity, overactive bladder, migraines, blepharospasm, urinary incontinence and cervical dystonia. Botox injections are often used off label for both aesthetic and medical purposes. This includes the treatment of acne, TMJ syndrome, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and last but not least, penis enhancement. Plus, Botox seems to be a promising treatment for premature ejaculation.
