Juvederm Hydrate is a medical-grade filler that serves as a hydrating agent to combat skin dryness, dehydration, and fine lines. It is made of sterile, apyrogenic, non-animal hyaluronic acid (HA) in a physiological gel solution. The natural antioxidant mannitol is added to decrease the damaging effects of free radical and prolong the results of the treatment. HA is extremely effective in providing deep hydration by attracting water molecules deep within the cells. The focus of this treatment is replenishing depleted levels of hyaluronic acid, restoring elasticity in the skin, and revealing a natural, healthy glow by boosting skin hydration.
What Juvederm Hydrate is formulated to do
Juvederm Hydrate is specially formulated to counter the negative effects of sun damage, natural aging, and other environmental deterrents. It addresses various skin problems such as dry, dull skin. It can be safely administered on the face, neck, decollete, and back of hands.
This particular variant is not indicated for volume creation and correcting deep wrinkles. There are other Juvederm products that are specifically intended to treat the conditions mentioned. Juvederm Hydrate, on the other hand, is the most effective filler for retaining moisture within the skin. We all know the importance of keeping the skin hydrated to make it appear smooth and elastic. Hyaluronic acid improves an uneven and rough skin texture by providing maximum hydration. As water fills the gaps under the skin, it creates slight plumping and smoothing effect that is more subtle and natural looking.

Which skin type is it good for?
This injectable works for all skin types, especially those that lack moisture, with a rough or dull texture. It’s perfect for those with mild or moderate skin concerns that are just experiencing the first signs of aging.
Precautions and contraindications
Juvederm Hydrate is a mesotherapy injectable, which contains hyaluronic acid and the antioxidant mannitol. Both ingredients are proven safe and effective when injected into the dermis. HA is a naturally occurring substance in the body, thus pre-testing is not required for this treatment. It is not recommended for patients with a history of multiple allergic reactions or anaphylactic shock. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not be given this treatment.
Awards and certification
Juvederm products are approved by the US FDA and awarded certifications as medical devices for correcting moderate to severe wrinkles and contouring the lips of patients over the age of 18.
