What is Ellanse® M?
Ellanse M is a completely synthetic dermal implant that contains Polycaprolacton (PCL) microspheres homogenously suspended in carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) gel carrier. The filler functions as a biostimulator to promote synthesis of new collagen fibers. Skin then remains firm and plump for an extended period of time.
What is Ellanse M formulated to do?
Patients suffering from pronounced signs of skin aging like wrinkles and loss of facial tissues can choose Ellanse M implant for a durable performance. PCL microspheres boost the production of collagen fibers. Over time, the gel will be disintegrated but skin still remains firm due to newly-formed collagen fibers. Glycerin replenishes moisture deep within the skin for better skin health.
Who is the manufacturer?
Ellanse M is manufactured by Aqtis Medical.
What is the country of origin?
The skin filler is made in Europe.
What else do you need to know?
When can it cause side effects?
Inflammatory reactions like bruising, redness, and swelling might develop at the injection site. Assure your patients that these reactions are quite mild and will subside within a couple of days.
Which skin type is it good for?
The aesthetic filler is intended for the treatment of pronounced facial lines. Besides that, patients wanting to subtly volumize facial areas can choose this filler.
What is it made without?
The aesthetic solution is completely synthetic and free from disease-causing pyrogens or endotoxins. Nevertheless, it is latex-free and completely bioresorbable.
Information about tube or containers
The filler is packaged in a 1ml syringe.
What are the differences between the products?
The four fillers in the Ellanse range: Ellanse S, M, L and E are differentiated by the particle size of PCL microspheres. As a result, their residence time varies greatly between the fillers.
What is the suggested usage?
Just before injection, sanitize proposed problematic areas and assemble the medical device by attaching a 27G ¾” needle to the syringe. Then, correct the wrinkles by injecting into the dermis layer of the skin. Gently massage injected sites for better gel placement and discard any remaining gel as well as used needles.
What is the composition?
The main constituents of this implant are non-toxic, latex-free PCL microspheres homogenously suspended in CMC gel carrier. Polycaprolacton is a medical grade, completely synthetic polymer used in many biomedical applications like suture materials and tissue engineering as it promotes new collagen synthesis. The implant also works the same way to improve skin imperfections by generating new collagen fibers. Even after the gel disintegrates over time, skin will still remain plump and firm due to newly-synthesized collagen fibers. Other ingredients include glycerin, a powerful humectant that moisturizes skin from deep within.
What is in the box?
Two 1ml prefilled syringes, Four 27G ¾” needles, and a package insert.
What is the duration of effect?
The implant is renowned for its durable performance that could last for up to two years. The filler material is non-toxic and can be broken down and absorbed into nearby tissues after the stipulated residence time.
What is the storage condition?
This product must be stored in a room with temperature ranging between 15℃ to 25℃.
What is the shelf life?
Refer to the package expiry date.
