Perfectha is the latest generation of hyaluronic acid filler made with minimal usage of the reticulating agent, 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE). After extracting hyaluronic acid molecules from bacterial fermentation, the molecules are purified and processed with E-brid Technology. This state-of-the-art technology induces formation of covalent bonds between and within the hyaluronic acid units. That way, the level of BDDE in the implants is almost undetectable.

How long have these fillers been on the market?

These fillers were first designed and launched in 2005. A couple years later, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and European Commission (CE) certifications were awarded to Fine Line, Derm, and Deep fillers. The Subskin implant received its CE mark 3 years later.

How do the products work effectively?

Hyaluronic acid is an important cell found abundantly in the human body. It functions to deeply nourish tissues by delivering moisture. It maintains an optimal level of skin hydration. Unfortunately, internal aging tends to reduce the synthesis and repair of various cells, including hyaluronic acid. External aging factors, such as smoking and long-term sun damage, also further damage the skin, resulting in dehydration, the formation of lines, inelasticity, and even volume loss. The biphasic fillers are extracted from a non-animal source and cross-linked via E-brid Technology that uses less of the BDDE agent. Hence, following the treatment session, skin depressions are plumped up for a more radiant and smooth appearance.

What are the active ingredients that make the brand unique?

The aesthetic fillers are made of artificial hyaluronic acid molecules that are cross-linked between and within themselves via E-brid Technology which uses much lesser BDDE agent. So, the fillers are extremely capable of correcting various dermal imperfections and maintain aesthetic results for a longer period of time.

Why is it different from other brands?

  1. The hyaluronic acid is cross-linked via E-brid Technology, which requires less of a reticulating agent. This ensures that the fillers maintain a considerably longer residence time compared to other hyaluronic acid based fillers.
  2. The hyaluronic acid gel has a biphasic texture, whereby the particle size and quantity can be easily matched to correct specific skin concerns.
  3. Meticulously purified non-animal sourced hyaluronic acid ensures that no harmful contaminants are present that could inadvertently cause allergic reactions

What skin type is it suitable for?

The cosmetic implants are ideal for correcting the following skin problems:
  1. Minor premature aging signs like dullness, superficial lines, and a lack of elasticity;
  2. Deep-set wrinkles and folds;
  3. Loss of facial volume;
  4. Facial contours.

Due to the different concentration of hyaluronic acid particles present, you may choose the most suitable filler for your patients to correct their skin issues effortlessly.

What are some of the side effects?

After treatment session, some commonly reported reactions include inflammatory responses.

Common side effects:

  • Swelling
  • Itching
  • Pain
  • Redness
The reactions above generally tend to wane within a few days. Educate your patients to maintain proper hygiene to quicken recovery. On the other hand, patients may even exhibit more serious aftereffects.

Rare side effects:

  • Inflamed lumps
  • Hardened tissues
  • Blood clots
  • Blocked vessels
Serious reactions can prove to be fatal if prompt medical attention is not obtained.

Why should you choose Perfectha®?

Perfectha is the next generation of dermal fillers designed using innovative E-brid Technology. The resulting implants are equipped with long-lasting performance and universal degradation.
